Swan dive:
Stand at the edge of a platform or similar location. Hold Walk and Jump + Forward. Lara will do a swan dive that will save you from the horrible screaming that results when you do the normal jump from a high place. Note: If you use the swan dive, you will die even if its only two square spaces in height because Lara lands on her head.

Karate Kid pose
Stand directly in front the fireplace at the Laras home. Press 5 + Up + 4. Hold 4, but release in mid-jump as you come down. Laura will do the famous Karate Kid pose with her arms stretched out, standing on one foot.

Sexy climb-up vault
When lifting yourself up onto something, you can do a little vault up. Jump and press 4 to grab the edge of a platform. While holding 4 to hang there, hold Up + 7.

Beginner level 2:Warp To level 5
Instead of going forwards towards the goal, turn around and go up the little point. Fall off and land on a platform beneath. There should be another goal there that warps you to level 5.

Fly high:

Dash to the right and hold Down/Right. You will go down the hill (not getting all the rings). Eventually, you will go so fast that you will leave the screen. Get Automatic Shotgun early:
Go through the level and collect the Remote Mines, as you will need them later. Continue until you reach a point where there are two yellow cases on the right being watched by two guards. Take out the guards, then toss a Remote Mine near the two cases. It will explode, opening a passage. Go right and collect the health, then go back to the entrance of the hidden passage and go left to collect the Automatic Shotgun. It is a very useful weapon because it kills regular guards in one hit and the yellow guards in two or three hits.

Easy boost-energy
By driving up close on civilian cars you build up the boost meter. Instead of trying to approach them without direct contact (which can be hard to perform) simply crash into a car that comes your way (it must not go in the same direction as you do). By doing so you will only lose about 40 km/h of speed but gain an additional full turbo boost.

Quick refill of the boost meter
On the roadside are various objects like phone booths, hot dog booths, plants, street signs, boxes, etc you can drive through. Doing this gives your turbo meter a nice boost.

Hint: Easy win:
For easy victory over the CPU under any difficulty setting, place eight to twelve villagers into three control groups. Guide
In soccer there are four things that will make you a better player, practice, practice, practice and more practice. To this end we have assembled a guide to getting the most out of the Gremlin Soccer Series, without all that hard work.

Get in the right frame of mind:
Actua Soccer is not another simple arcade game. You cant just keep pressing the fire button until the ball flies into the back of the net. You have to develop that most elusive of attributes, a
footballer's brain. How else will you know how to create space, when to hold, when to release and when to give their winger a grass sandwich. To help you here are a few points to bear in mind.

Defending:
i. Keep the opposition's shooting opportunities to an absolute minimum. Live by the footballer's maxim "If in doubt, boot it out".
ii. Look out for rebounds from the Goal Keeper. Opposing teams will always maintain an attack until the ball is in his hands.
iii. Turn the 'offside' option on. This means that your defenders will always stand a chance of blocking a shot.

Passing:
i. The key to successful passing is creating space. Don't be tempted to pass when a player is right on top of you. Either release the ball quickly, or twist and turn until you're clear.
ii. Aim for the gaps, and look for players in space. Remember that you don't always have to be facing the player you want to pass to. If your player has good vision he will pass to the man in the best position. If your team isn't one of the best you will have to think for yourself.

Tackling:
i. Try not to pull players out of position to make a tackle. If you do you may be leaving an opposing player unmarked.
ii. Don't lunge at every player feet first. Sliding tackles should be used only when you're sure of coming away with the ball or as a last resort.
iii. The most successful approach is to run into a player, shouldering him off the ball.
iv. Be aware of which referee is in charge of the game. One too many tackles with a strict Ref. and it's time for an early bath.

Shooting:
i. One touch shots are very difficult to perform from short passes. Therefore only attempt them when you have the time to set it up.
ii. Try and shoot with the one touch feature. Don't give the goalkeeper time to get into position.
iii. Always be on the look out for rebounds from their keeper. The best time to score is when the goalie's still on the floor.
iv. Always put after touch on a shot if you can.
v. When taking a penalty select the "wire" camera. Aim your player at a corner of the goal and use the power shot to keep the ball hard and low.
vi. Don't panic!! The best players stay cool when the ball's in the area.

Practice:
i. Select 'practice mode' in order to master your technique without the other team bothering you.
ii. You must practice the one touch passing and shooting moves.
iii. If you're having all the possession, but aren't scoring many goals. then this is the part of the game you need to work on.

Formation & Tactics:
i. Know your squad and the strengths and weakness of the opposition. Plan your game accordingly. For example, if you're playing weak team against Germany, play with a packed defence, stick to a long ball game and use forwards with good controlling skills rather than those with good pace or flair.
ii. A lot of problems can be sorted out by getting the formation right. For example, if you're losing out in Midfield, try adopting a 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 formation. Remember that the default formation may not be the one which suits your style of play.

Abuse

Level 00 contains a bazooka, and a level warp. First, the bazooka. At one point in the level, there is a pit, which you have to jump down. You can jump across it, and onto a small ledge, but that seems pointless, until you shoot the wall right next to it a few times. teleport, and youll find a small area with a couple missiles, and several grenades. Second, after the save game console, the ceiling looks a bit weak. Shoot the weak part, and then the section right next to it. It takes a couple shots, but the up arrow has to be completely visible for this to work. Jump up into the up arrow, and hold down left. Go into the tunnel, and youll see 3 level end teleporters. The first is Level 01, second is Level 02, and third is Level 03.

Bionic Commando

Easy Energy
In order to gain more hit points (up to 5, for a total of 8), collect as many cartridges from defeated enemies as you can. An easy way to collect the cartridges is to find a communications room that has an enemy soldier nearby. Kill the soldier, take the cartridge, then enter the room. Leave the room, and the soldier will have returned! You can do this as many times as you'd like to stock up on hit points.

Get Promoted
I have found two ways of getting promoted in this game. To my knowledge, getting promoted only changes the color of your uniform.

1.) In Area 4, go to the place with the waterfall. You should be on the lowest platform. When you get to the edge with the skull and crossbones, swing across. There will be a Comm room there where you will need to use the Green decoder. (You can also tap the message to listen in on a dumb conversation.) Then talk to your superior officer and he will tell you that you have opened Area 16. There are no enemies in Area 16, just one big obstacle course.

2.) The second promotion is when you get to the blue room where you have to swing on the lamp post in Area 11. When you drop down the next hole, instead of swinging on the lights, swing on the ceiling until you get to the red platform. Then pull yourself up and keep going up and swing on that ceiling. Swing to the right and grab the red platform and pull yourself up. Swing on the lamp post and fall into the second hole that you encounter. There will be a Comm room there where you will need the Yellow decoder. (Tap this message for cooking tips.) After speaking to your superior officer you will have opened Area 17. This place is a sewer with many raptor type enemies. Good luck!!

Return To Your Chopper
While playing the game, hold SELECT and press A and B at the same time. You will return to your chopper on the overhead map screen. You can save your game and move around the map. This is helpful when you find yourself in an unescapable spot or need to select a different item.

When your at crystal lake after you take your big jump take a sharp left by the mountains you might get alittle damage taken off but if you do it you will jump on a big platform and ride it to the finish line.

Get different views
At the main screen where it says"1080" Press start then press top c. Now use your control pad to get different views of the snowboarder at the demo.

Cheat
Choose any rider and on their board selection screen press down C-down and then A. You don't have to do one trick to get it.

Shortcuts
CRYSTAL LAKE:
Right after the big jump, you will see a house with a ramp beside it straight ahead. Go off the course and hit the ramp, and you will find a shorter route than the normal one.

CRYSTAL PEAK:
Right after coming out of the tunnel, you will turn right. You will then see two different pathes. Hit the right one. Be sure that after coming out of the tunnel you make the right turn pretty sharp, or you may not be able to turn in time to hit the right path. The right path is much shorter and you will bypass some tough obstacles.

DEADLY FALLS:
At the start go straight you'll notice little mounds to the left and a fork the computer goes right when the mountain pertrudes on go left you'll see a mound ramping up hit it, it will thin out to a peak ride to the point and you'll fly up on to the mountain then theres another little mound on that go left around it and cut back sharply then aim forward you should go on to an ice bridge(a bit tricky to find)then follow it until your back on the main hill when you get back down you should see a mound in front of you with a hole in it but don't take it just turn straight down and go your usual way through the outcrops of trees.

DRAGON COVE:
If you're a little behind near the end and are willing to take a risk, drive straight through the little shack and ride the thin cable to a small lead, but be careful; if you land poorly it will most likely cost you the race.

DRAGON FOREST:
On the dragon forest track, once you have gone over the first bridge, stick to the left. Soon you will encounter a fork in the trail, go left once more and in front of you there will be a gaping hole in wall across a small gap. Jump with the A button to span the chasm and you will land in this secret pathway. The path is basically a straight, fast detour that will spit you out around the second bridge with infinitesimally quicker results compared to any other route.

GOLDEN FOREST:
When you reach the fork with trees and powder in the middle, go in the powder. After a while you will see a large log going in the air. Ride up it to get to a further part of the track.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE:
Inside the cave may seem like a maze, but stick to the right side and you will find your way through much easier.

Panda tricks
Back flip:
Press R + Analog-stick Down when in the air. Panda will perform a back flip in the air that is worth 100 points. This move can also be performed closer to the ground.

Front flip:
Press R + Analog-stick Up when in the air. Panda will perform a front flip in the air that is worth 100 points. This move can also be performed closer to the ground.

One foot:
Press R + Analog-stick Down when in the air. Panda will do a one-foot trick in the air, worth 400 points.

Panda tweak:
Hold R and rotate the Analog-stick in a Counter-Clockwise Circle. Then, press R + Left (or Right). This trick is worth 300 points.

Watch Your Ghost
To watch your ghost without racing it, make a ghost in trick attack and then return to the start screen. When Kensuke Kimachi is done going down Crystal Lake, your ghost will appear on the track.

Ring of Fire
First get to the dragon cave level. Next follow the coarse normally until you pass the first bridge. There should be a fork in the trail, turn right. After that there should be another fork in the trail, turn left this time {make sure not to fall off the edge!!} Go straight ahead and there should be a ring of fire and an awsome jump for some great tricks.

Panda character
Finish "Match Race" under the expert difficulty level and finish better than all the EAD scores on the time attack, trick attack and contest modes. Select Rob Haywood, hold C-Right, and press A at his statistics screen. Note: The Panda can perform several unique moves that are listed under the "Trick List" option under training mode.

Go past the finish line
Select match race with any character, any board, and any course. Make your way to the finish line, then press Start and go to retire before crossing the line. Your character will be able to continue snowboarding. This looks the best on Deadly Falls because your snowboarder will fall off a cliff!

Remixed replay music
Press the Analog-stick during a replay to add rap style scratches to the music.

Control title screen view
Press C-Up at the title screen to adjust the view.

Unlock tricks easily
Select the "Training" option from the main menu. Select any rider and board, and choose an easy trick from the list. Launch from the jump or from the side of the half pipe and execute the trick. Then, quickly press Right-C(2) while in mid-air. The trick list should re-appear. Select a trick that has not been unlocked, then resume and land successfully with the easy trick. The more difficult trick should now be unlocked from the list.

Ghost playback during demo
Complete any course under time attack mode and save the ghost. Return to the demonstration screen with Kensuke Kimachi. The demonstration will continue after he crosses the finish line with the saved ghost run.

Penguin snowboard
Complete all twenty-four training mode tricks. Highlight the any character's default board at the snowboard selection screen, hold C-Down, and press A. Note: The penguin board may also be used with the crystal, gold and panda snowboarders.

Dragon Cave course
Select "Match race", and complete all courses under hard mode.

Level select

Extra bad ending
To add a piece on to the bad ending you have to make sure your money total is $0 by the end of the game. Playing under normal mode and not getting any adapters may also help. Buy a cake and mojo doll to waste the money collected after a country. Also waste a cake before defeating the Boss. If money is accidentally collected, fall down a pit or do something else to start again (usually from Launchpad or the Boss). When the game is completed with a $0 total, you will see Glomgold titled as the greatest adventurer.

Finding the map pieces

Bermuda
After all the water and rings, go up one screen and then left. Pull on the ring and proceed. Pull on the next ring and jump on top of the raised block. Immediately pogo jump off the block on top of the column. Now, pull the barrels toward you with the switch, then pogo off one onto the conveyor belt. Then, jump to the treasure chest containing the map piece.

Niagra
There is an iron box near Webby. Pull it to the ledge to go on top of it. Then, go on top of the chest and golf swing the invisible box. You can now go in a room containing the map piece.

Mu
At the beginning of the level, break all but the last round rock near the large one. Golf swing the last one and the large rock will come loose. Pogo jump off of it and head to the next one and loosen it. Do not break the ones on the floor. Then, pogo off the rock to the ceiling that was behind you. Head across the ceiling to a rope. Climb up and you will reach a clearing and eventually find the map piece ahead of it.

Egypt
There are two square rocks near the beginning. Hit them and go down the waterfall that was under them. Go on top of the last rock to create some waterfalls that you can move on. At the end are some numbered blocks. Pogo on #3 twice, #1 four times, and #2 once. The wall will open up to reveal a map piece.

Scotland
The first time that you climb up a rope, go left. Bounce off the hidden treasure chest next to the wall on the floor above (first hug the wall and jump to see it). Break the square rocks in this hidden area and enter the wall in this place where spears are sticking up. You will find a treasure chest. Break it and fall down the fake floor that was underneath. Hop on the block with an arrow on it and go on the ledges that are appearing. Climb the chain and to get the map piece. Note: You will need the Iron Adapter to get to it. You will transport to the basement, unless this is not your last map piece. (In this case, you must exit through the ceiling to the left of where you are presently located.) In the basement you will find the Secret Treasure of McDuck and a new ending once you defeat the D-1000.

1st Land Boss Hint
If you have been having trouble with the first land boss, here is all you need to do. When you turn into a sword fish the enemy will fire the fist shell, It will chase you about, but very slowly and its not really a problem. When it stops and starts opening and closing, while it is open, ram it towards the boss and it should hurt him. Then quickly go to the bottom right hand corner and you will be out of range of his triple shell shot. Repeat these actions until he is dead!

Time Trial
Once you complete the game (get all DK coins and bonus coins) you can accsess the time trial. All you do is select a game at the main menu and the time trial will come up. To just play normally, select play.
