Rocket launcher
Get an "A" ranking in the normal game by completing it without saving, no first aid sprays, and no retries. Additionally, save Steve from the Luger quickly, give the Medicine to Rodrigo, and complete the game with a time less than 4:30. The rocket launcher will appear in the first item box in the next new game.

Epilogues
Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock an Epilogue. Epilogues are a short diary description of each character in the entire Resident Evil series which describes what happened with that specific person after their adventure. Hints
Rod and reels
Reels have various lengths and casting accuracy. Use weight when making a line choice. Lighter line allows lures to go deeper, but also break easier. Heavier line will not break as easy, but may scare fish.
Choosing a boat
Select an R. Series boat when first starting because of its good handling, powerful motor, and advanced fish finder.
Lures
Topwater
This lure floats and can be popped along the water's surface to make a splash. It is best used when fish are near the surface (overcast, rain, afternoon).
Crankbait
This lure remains close to the surface after casting, but dives when reeled in. Most Crankbait will remain in relatively shallow water. They are most effective in medium depths and in cold water.
Spinnerbait
This lure is quick, noisy, and can cover a lot of water. It is a good choice to use when testing the waters. Small and dark Spinnerbait work best in clear, sunny weather. The bigger, heavier Spinnerbait works best in mud.
Plastic
These lures are often shaped like actual food (worms, lizards, crayfish). Naturally colored and smaller Plastics work best in clear water. Brighter and larger Plastics work in darker, muddy, or deep water.

This is a fair weather bait that works best in sunny days and clear water. They are not flashy, fast, or noisy.
Lakes
Old Hickory Lake
Early morning: Stay near the north shore and the shallow water. The game will start very close to a good spot. Slowly pull up a bit to find a lot fish.
Midmorning: The north shore and vicinity are good places. Stay in the shallows in the morning. Water over hard and rocky ground is a bass favorite. The small inlets may also have some good fishing.
Afternoon: The bass will tend to go near docks, poles, clusters of rocks, and sharp drops in depth.
Lake Okeechobee
Early Morning: The shallows will warm up first in the morning and attract the fish. Most of the shore and the area around the small islands is shallow. The south shore is a good place to fish.
Midmorning: The three small islands and the north side of the lake, directly opposite those islands are good places to fish.
Afternoon: Fish in the locations from the morning and midmorning hours.
Lake Shasta
Early Morning: This lake has a shallow shoreline, with most of the remaining area very deep. Try fishing in the northern recesses, as well as in the muddy shallows at the northeast side of the lake.
Midmorning: Try the shallow areas with structure, such as up north. The bass can also be found just beyond the shallows where a steep drop-off separates it from the deep water.
Afternoon: Use your fish finder to search for bass. Stop as soon as soon as possible, look at the depth reading, and select the correct lures.
Retrieving lures
Steady
Retrieve your lures steadily in clear water and on sunny days, as well as when you need to quickly look around.
Erratic
Jerk the line from side to side to create movement while reeling in a loud spinnerbait or topwater lure in muddy or overcast conditions.
Hopping
Pull sharply on the line to hop a topwater lure along the surface or to pop a plastic or jig along the bottom of the lake.

Banjo-Tooie
Mystery Pink Egg
To find the location of the mysterious Pink Egg from Banjo-Kazooie, go back to Spiral Mountain. Just above the tree stumps where the speed shoes are located is a hole. In the hole are metal bars enclosing in a Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak. To destroy the metal bars, you will have to learn about Grenade Eggs. Use them to blow up the bars. Go up to Gruntilda's Lair to find a Flight Pad so you can fly to the hole and break open the Game Pak to find the Pink Egg.
Mystery Blue Egg
Go back to Spiral Mountain and use the Flight Pad to fly up to a waterfall with a hole in it. Jump all the way through the rushing current to find the Game Pak. Use the Grip Grab skill to break open the bars.
Ice Key
The Ice Key from Banjo-Kazooie is hidden inside another Game Pak. You will have to learn the Grip Grab move to get it. Go to Jinjo Village, go behind the Green Jinjo's House, and find the sandy spot. You will see a crack in the wall. Go up on the platform near there to reach it and climb your way across to a hole. Be careful, because there are plants that will bite you. When you reach the cave, you will see the Game Pak.
Jet Force Gemini posters
Look inside Bottle's House, and his little sister's and brother's rooms to find pictures of the stars of Jet Force Gemini on the walls.

Press A + B to swim faster in water.
Cheat mode
Enter the witch's head on Spiral Mountain to find Cheato. One cheat will be revealed for every five Cheato pages that you find. It is possible to break the boulder blocking the Beaver's hole in Click Clock Wood on the Spring level. Stand on the ledge above the rock, then find the correct angle just to the right of the rock. Drop eggs onto the boulder to break it open. Then, swim into the hole on this level to find some glitches, such as the Beaver still asking you to move the now destroyed rock.
Extra lives in Mr. Vile's games
With Mumbo's help, turn into an alligator in the Bubblegloop Swamp. Then, enter the nose of the giant alligator statue. Now beat Mr. Vile at his games to get a puzzle piece, then leave and re-enter for a new challenge. Beat Mr. Vile in his three games to earn extra lives. Note: If you lose any of the games, you will lose a life.
Get the Ice Key
Note: This trick requires a Game Shark or Pro Action Replay cartridge. Enable the "Moon Jump" code (D0281251 0020 + 8137C4BC 43E0). Then, go to the Ice Cave and press L to fly over the wall and take the Ice Key. Kazooie will say something similar to "We better keep this for later". Pause the game, look under "View Totals", then press Analog-stick Right to scroll through the level statistics. The screen will eventually stop at the Ice Key below the text "Stop n' Swop".
Stay as transformed animal
Note: This trick requires a Game Shark or Pro Action Replay cartridge. Enable the "Moon Jump" code (D0281251 0020 + 8137C4BC 43E0). As an animal, exit the area that was being explored and hold L when the "Mumbo Magic Get Weak" message appears. Do not touch the ground and go through the door. Then, Banjo-Kazooie will still be in the shape of that animal and can explore other areas with that form.
Cheat mode
Successfully complete the "Treasure Trove Cove" world, then return to Banjo's house. Go up to the picture of Bottles the mole hanging above the fireplace and press C-Up to look at it. Make sure you are standing on the carpet. Press R to play a bonus mini-game with a moving puzzle. There are seven puzzles in all. Complete each puzzle to receive a new code. Then, return to Treasure Trove Cove and enter the sand castle that you previously drained the water from and spell out one of the following codes on the floor of the sand castle with the Beak Buster move. Note: These codes are not saved and must be re-entered with each new game session.

Spell Book 1
This book is located behind the entrance to Bubblegloop Swamp, near the jigsaw puzzle for Freezeezy Peak. When you first walk through the pipe that leads to the puzzle board for Freezeasy peak and the second pipe to the spell book, a block of ice will be covering the second pipe. First, get the wading boots in the pipe near the beginning of the Bubblegloop Swamp area. Go through the pipe as Banjo and break the block of ice. Then, have Mumbo Jumbo transform you into the alligator in Bubblegloop Swamp and enter the pipe that leads to the spell book.
Spell Book 2
With Mumbo's help, transform into a pumpkin in the Mad Monster Mansion level. Leave the skull and follow the winding path to Brentilda's platform. Enter the small hole and follow the path to the spell book.
Spell Book 3
Find the entrance to Rusty Bucket Bay. Locate the cave with three pipes to the right of this location. Open the middle pipe and enter. Activate the "321" switch that is inside to raise the water level. Jump into the water and quickly move to the right. The book is located in the cave to the right.

Blood Will Tell
Gallery option and Dororo mode
Successfully complete Chapter 7 to unlock the "Gallery" option and Dororo mode.
Quick sword level up
Find a location that only has a portal that lets out birds with nothing else around to interrupt you. As soon as the birds appear, kill them with you arm swords, but make sure that you do not hit the portal or it will be destroyed after a few hits. The left arm levels up more quickly than the right arm. However, with some time you can get them leveled to a decent level at the start of the game to help you in the Boss fights that happen later.
Raising Dororo's HP
As you play the game, notice that Dororo gets a heart after killing a demon. The heart increases his maximum HP. In Chapter 4, when you play as him for the first time, you will encounter three portals that put out wolves. Destroy two of the portals and focus on the wolves that are exiting from the last one. Every two or three that are killed will drop a heart. Make sure not to destroy the portal until you have all the health that you desire.
Easy slice combo
At Chapter 7, after you defeat the demon Tahoumaru, go back to the place in Daigo's Castle where you defeated Tahoumaru. You will find a very special sword: "Sword Of The Eight Cloud". This sword allows you to make crazy slice combos. With this sword, make a slash attack (hold Triangle). Then, for every slice you make, the CPU will count 3 slices. Note: The button combinations are harder as with other swords. You can easy make 60 or more slice combos. With this sword, you can easilty get very rare swords or objects in the game, and defeat the final Boss slightly easier.
Defeating the final Demon
First, The boss will fly around the outside of the area, shooting fire balls at you. As you move to get out of the way of them he will stop just long enough to get one shot from your rocket launcher. As his health gets to the red, he will shoot out more fireballs, Wait for the right time to shoot him. Next, the Boss will come up to the side. This is one of the easy parts of the fight. He will start to move a hand back and forth across the ground. Stay to the side to avoid it. Hit it once or twice to get it to stop and jump on it. You will then be brought to his face. That is where you can do damage to him. He will shoot a lightning bolt at you if you do not hit him enough times. He will then throw you back. Repeat this until his head splits in half. Next, the Boss will try to stun you with lightning bolts and bursts of air when he takes off and lands. Try to keep from being hit as much as possible -- if his head if facing you when he lands, he will shoot out a beam. Try to stay to his side or back when he shoots out the beam. You must then run up his tail and onto his back and attack the spikes back there. Try to destroy them as fast as possible; the hand at the end of the tail will try to grab you. You can move out of the way, but if it gets you it will try to throw you into the beam. You can jump out of the throw. However, be sure you go in the correct direction so that you will not hit the beam as you destroy the spikes. There are two layers for each one, and for each one you destroy you will remove one of the lightning that you will have to watch for. In the next part of the battle, he will start dive bombing you. Only use the sword and nothing else. You must do a combo to stop him, and this works best with just the sword. With each hit you will slow him down, but get pushed back yourself. After you get the hits in to stop him, what appears to be his heart pops out. Charge up the sword and do a 48 slash combo on him.

Defeat Sarafan easily:
To defeat the Sarafan Lord easily, in chapter 11, do the following:
Like all bosses, he has 3 battle tactics. In the first, You must dodge his 3 energy blasts from the Soul Reaver. As he is charging for his second onslaught, you must quickly hit him with Telekensis. He is then stunned, you use the jump ability to attack him. This will instantly cause a cut scene and you will be thrown into his second tactic.
His second form is fairly easy. You simply block all his attacks, other than his fury hit (just jump out of the way from the fury hit), continue to block until Rage bar is filled enough to use Immolate. Repeat this process about 4 times, this will cause another cut scene and throw you into the 3rd, and final tactic. (you now have the soul reaver!=))
The 3rd tactic is fairly difficult. As he blocks 90% of your swings, and all Rage attacks are futile. You do not have many options open. You must swing 3 times at him, he will block all 3. You then jump away backwards instantly after the 3rd swing, he will then attempt to hit you immediately after your 3rd swing. After he starts to pull his hand back from the attack, you slash at him with the Soul Reaver. You should hit him at least once during this proces. I'm sorry if it sounds confusing, but this tactic does effectily.
Easier way to defeat Sarafan Lord:
Ok the cheat that tells you to do all of that confusing tactics on the 3rd time you fight the Sarafan Lord theres an easier way hes right about the first two but on the 3rd heres what you do.You can use one rage technique its the first one you have in the game "Rage" okay block all his attacks until the last attack where he puts his hand anove his head about to smash you quickly slide to the side with your rage bar full and use it right after he swings at where you were standing this strategy worked great for me the first time I fought him good luck!

Easy sacks

Silver weapons
Successfully complete the game on the Normal or Hard difficulty setting to unlock silver weapons with infinite ammunition for that difficulty and any lower difficulty setting(s). No blur on reload
To get rid of the blur when you reload, press X to reload then immediately hold Square, or press X to reload then tap Triangle. To get rid of the blur with automatic reload, tap R1 and everything will become clear. Also when reloading the M16 MP5, etc. with X, some have longer reloads. You can stop a X reload and fire whatever is remaining in the magazine by pressing R1. You can also speed up reload by tapping R1.
x5 zoom with the Sniper Rifle
Press R3 to zoom in x2 with the Sniper Rifle. When you are in this position, press D-pad Up as if you were changing the firing method of your weapon.
Saving health and ammunition
Try to shoot all enemies in the head. This usually brings them down in one shot and helps keep you alive. Since there is a smaller chance of you being killed by others if you do this, you can avoid having to repeat the level from the checkpoint and having to kill everyone again.
Red and black shells
When reloading the Remington shotgun, the shells are red. However, sometimes the shells are black, and there are no black shotgun shells in the game.
Defeating enemies
Use destructive objects to your advantage to shock, hurt, or even kill enemies.
Defeating enemies with shields and body armor
Head shots do not work on enemies with full body armor; just shoot. For enemies with shields, use grenades or RPGs. Or, get behind them and kill them by shooting them in the back. To kill shield enemies without using a grenade, shoot them on their left. You might take a little bit of damage, but it is worth it.
Shielded troopers will often stand beside large stone pillars in rooms (for example, in the "Tivliz Asylum" level). Do not shoot at the troopers; instead, shoot at the stone pillars above them. This will cause the stone to fall and crush them. If it does not appear to be working, you may need to aim higher.
Defeating RPG troopers
The easiest way to kill RPG troopers is to wait until they fire a round (pop out then hides behind something). While they are reloading, shoot at his midsection. If successful, you will shoot and detonate the RPG he is trying to reload, blowing him up.
Completing the final battle in Spetriniv Gulag
The M249 SAW, RPG (with at least four rounds), and at least two grenades (not those at the room entrance) are required for this trick. Do not enter the room because the door closes and it becomes difficult. Do not use any RPG rounds as you will need them later. Crouch at the door entrance and shoot the man with the flak armor in the back of the head. Then, shoot the others on the ground. To kill the men on the walkways, shoot the red object on the right side (on the walkway), then shoot the objects around the bottom of the left walkway; these will cause big explosions. When those men are dead, kill the next few in any order and do not forget the ones on the walkways. This will repeat until two appear on the walkway which is nearest to you. Kill them, then throw a grenade at each doorway at either end of the walkway. This should kill a few people (you will hear screams). If successful, more enemies will appear on the walkways and on the ground level. Enemies will keep appearing until the two bunkers open at the far end and RPG troopers. Do not worry, as only one RPG trooper appears at a time; there are three or four of them. Move back and wait for any last enemies or RPGs fired. Get out the way (or kill the enemies), then slowly go to the doorway until you can see a bunker. Take out your RPG and shoot it until the whole back wall explodes. Use this time to take out the last of the enemies. Watch out, as the RPG troopers will probably still be around, along with flak armored shotgun wielding men. This depends on how close they were to the back wall when it went up. Once everyone is dead and you have destroyed the safe on the walkway, go through one of the destroyed bunkers and complete the game. Sometimes this will not work out correctly and you will have to hide on the walkway (for example, if the door closes) and shoot them as they come.
The magnum with as many shots as possible, M249, and multiple grenades are required for this trick. Before you enter the room, crouch down in the archway and use the magnum to try to get as many head shots as possible and blow up explosives. After you are out of ammunition or when there are no any enemies remaining, take out the M249. Reload if needed, then run forward. When the shotgun and shielded enemies come out, keep moving and drop grenades at their feet. When they are cleared, shoot when possible and go up the stairs. Once up there, go into each room. Collect the armor and go into the other room. Once there, crouch down and take out the magnum (if you have ammunition), or use the M249 and wait for the enemies to come after you. After the enemies stop to appear for about two minutes, use the M249 and go down the stairs. There is a machine gun nest at the wall; subdue him and destroy the nest with grenades preferably, and enter it. When you do so, move around the corridor to complete the mission.
Rocket launcher in Vratska Dockyard
Once you get to the part where someone with a rocket launcher shoots at you from a ship tower, kill him then go down by the bottom of the ship. On the side of the steps, you will be asked to switch weapons for an RPG.

Burnout reference
During the final battle there is a safe (one of the secondary objective items) on the left walkway. If you destroy the safe, a message similar to "'You have destroyed Secret Burnout Renders" will appear.
Aurora stealth plane reference
In the first mission, on any difficulty setting other than Easy, you can destroy Intel as a secondary objective. One of those Intel-containing laptops once destroyed holds information on an "Experimenting aircraft code named 'Aurora'." The "Aurora" is supposedly a real, yet secret, aircraft. Most of the Intel is real or based on real world information.
AK47 bullet casings mistake
When you fire the AK47, the bullet casings are ejected from the wrong side of the gun. The bullet casings should come out of the right side, away from your face.

Play as Vezon
Successfully complete the game to unlock Vezon.
Easy Lego pieces
In the level where you fight Roodaka, go to her and hold X. After you get Hero mode, use tape to keep X held on the controller so your character keeps attacking. Use Hahli, Vezok, or even Vezon so that they keep shooting streams to easily defeat the summoned Visorak. Because of the auto-aim when there is a villain your character will lock on automatically, kills them, then switch. Since your character is invincible in Hero mode and it is unlimited, you can gain easy Bolts.

The best Toa for defeating Gurrahk (level 1) are Matoro for beating Guhhrahk Hajli and Jaller for killing summoned enemies.
Defeating Vezon
After defeating all Piraka, you will have to fight Vezon for the last time. First hit him in the back, then in the legs, then the heads, then Vezon.

Landmines in End Of The Road scenario
In either online or offline mode, landmines will be visible as small black cubes on the ground. Avoid them as best you can, putting a safe distance between yourself and them. Or, if you feel the NPC' running with you are useless, send them ahead to where the mine is with the "Go" command. They will take the damage rather than you.
Avoiding instant deaths
Desperate Times - Window Zombies: Stay clear of the windows. If caught, call out the "Help" command to get NPCs to help you out, or frantically press buttons.
Flashback - Axeman: When the Axeman goes in for an instant kill, he will let out a raspy growl and start to raise his axe, aiming to slice down on whoever's head is before him; simply move out of the way.
End Of The Road - Hunters: The moment they start to screech, move. Do not stay in front of them for too long.
End Of The Road - Mr. X, type 2: The moment this mutation raises his arms in the air, get a good distance away from him to avoid getting sliced open.
End Of The Road - Nyx: This glob of stuff will pull its arm back and slam its palm into the ground, pinning whoever it strikes to the ground, then pulling them into its body. There is no way to escape it unless your allies kill Nyx for you before your Virus gauge wipes you out. The moment you see the arm pull back for an overhand swing, get out of the way quickly.
Wild Things - Crocodile: Keep yourself in good health while traversing through the water if being pursued. While standing at the edge of the lake, do not idle for too long, and rapidly hit the buttons to escape if the it lunges out and grabs your foot.
Wild Things - Elephants: Keep clear of their feet, only going close to them if you have no choice but to use a melee weapon. Their front legs will raise in the air and slam down without much warning. While in the office building, avoid staying near the windows for too long.
Wild Things - Lions: The moment you hear them emit a low snarl or screeching noise, get out of the line of fire.
Leon and Resident Evil 2 reference
At the end of the Desperate Times level when you are in the truck, you will pass a police car. The person in that car is Leon from Resident Evil 2. This is during the time when Leon is in the S.T.A.R.S. team for the first time. There are ways to know for sure that it is Leon. If Kevin, he will say, "He hasn't finished training his new recruits". Melvin will enter the room that Leon will discover him in Resident Evil 2.

Successfully complete the "Decisions, Decisions" stage. You can now unlock hard mode for 2,000 points.

Alyssa's alternate costumes
Find Alyssa's character-specific special items. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected. To unlock her second alternate costume, collect all of her alternate character-specific special items: high heels, deep red rouge, and deep red dress. The items are randomly placed so they are more difficult to get. This costume will be available in the collection menu for 30,000 points when all of her second special items are collected.
Cindy's alternate costumes
Find Cindy's character-specific special items: white underpants, sandal, cool sunglasses, light blue shirt. This costume will be available in collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected. To unlock her second alternate costume, find her secondary special items: bunny cuff, bunny bow knot, bunny tights, bunny ears, bunny high-heel, adult rouge, and bunny neck tie. This costume will be available in the collection menu for 30,000 points when all of her secondary special items are collected.
David's alternate costume
Find David's character-specific special items: leather pants, shirt, leather jacket, leather shoes, and stern pendent. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected.
George's alternate costume
Find George's character specific special items: pants, sunglasses, yellow parka, outdoor shoes, and brown inner clothes. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected.
Jim's alternate costume
In order to play as Jim as a basketball star, collecting all of his character-specific special items: white tank top, rare basketball shoes, basketball uniform, signed ball, and basketball pants. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected.
Kevin's alternate costume
In order to play as Kevin as a rugged cowboy type, you need to find his character-specific special items. They are as follows: western shoes, pure white T-shirt, cigar, faded color good G-pants, cowboy hat, and leather belt. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected.
Mark's alternate costume
Find Mark's character-specific special items: brown belt, 3/4 pants, polo tee, and sneakers. The costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected.
Yoko's alternate costume
Find Yoko's character-specific special items: lovely sneaker and green dress. This costume will be available in the collection menu for 10,000 points when all items are collected. Note: She has four costumes.
To unlock her second alternate costume, collect all of her secondary character-specific special items: gym suit, sport shoes, and buruma. This costume will be available in the collection menu for 30,000 when all of her second special items are collected.
To get her fourth alternate costume, play as Yoko and successfully complete the "Outbreak" stage on the normal difficulty setting. Once done, go to the "Collection" option at the main menu and choose "Costumes". Buy costume 16 for 8,000 points. Once it is unlocked, you can play as Yoko before she changed into the person she is.

Secret FMV sequence
On the stage "Below Freezing Point" there is a secret FMV sequence. To view it, you must do the following. After using the V-Jolt on the plant go up to level B-4 (skip level B-5 for now). Once on B-4, go past the frozen Hunter and pick up the herb and pipe in the back. Then, go back to level B-6 (again skipping level B-5) and enter the keycodes into the main computer system. Make sure to enter the word "HOPE". Then, go to level B-5 and go through the vents. Be careful as a zombie will be here on the normal, hard, and very hard difficulty settings. Once through, go to the key panel, open the shutter, and enter the computer room. Then, enter your fingerprint into the computer. Finally, go back to level B-4 and go through the only open door. If done correctly, you will unlock the secret FMV sequence of your character getting attacked by the giant moth. Note: After the FMV sequence ends, you will be back in the computer room attached to the wall, and you must struggle to get out. This will cause your health to be in "Poison" status.
Defeating giant leech
On The Hive level, the Boss will be a giant leech. To kill it easily, make it chase you back to the start, where you first get on the boat. Once there, hop out of the water and shoot him (if you have ammunition). If you do not have ammunition you can use the steel pipe, broom, crutch, or knife to kill him. If you are using the knife, you can either hop back in, stand in front of the giant leech, then stab; or you can stand out of the water and use the knife. When you stand outside of the water you will not be able to hit the giant leech until it lifts up its head. You must then stab quickly; you should be able to get two or three stabs. If you are in the water fighting the giant leech, you can get a few good swings at it, but be careful -- it only shoots acid when it is stuck there. It also swings its head back and forth causing damage to your character. Note: Though this is a very easy way to kill the giant leech, you must also watch your partner's health. Your partner can die from the giant leech, and if that happens your partner will turn into a leechman.
Defeating Hunters
To kill Hunters easily, you can use a Magnum or do a team attack (this works offline and online). To use the team attack against the Hunters, have two people wait and have one as a decoy. For example, on the stage they appear on "Below Freezing Point", when you are in the West Passage area and the Hunter breaks free from the ice, it will stand there for a few seconds. Have two people wait around the corner and have one person run down the hall and back up towards the Hunter (not all the way in the doorway where the Hunter is located). Make enough room for him to pop out and around the corner. Once he is around the corner, have the two people who are waiting quickly run up and either start shooting or hitting it. The Hunter will have nowhere to go or have a chance to make an attack. This method works only for the stage "Below Freezing Point". Note: The only way you can get a Magnum is if you are playing as Yoko. Yoko gets the gun from a friend in the game, none of the other characters can get this gun.
Stopping your virus meter
There are two ways to stop your virus meter from going up. The first way is to use the Anti-Virus Pill. This will stop the meter until you are attacked again. The other way is to use a Red Herb. This will stop the meter for a few minutes.
Earn more points at the end of stages
To earn more points at the end of stages, follow some of these steps:
No Damage Clear: To get a "No Damage Clear" do not get attacked by any kind of monster. If you come close to a monster, use your special attack (R1 + X) or ram the monster (R1 + Circle). When a monster is coming close to you, call for help (Right Analog-stick Left) and the CPU character will arrive to help. If done correctly you will get about 4,000 points. Note: This is not an easy task. It is recommended that you play the game a few times then trying for a "No Damage Clear".
No Weapon Clear: To get points for a "No Weapon Clear", pass any weapons you find to the CPU. You cannot use any weapons/ You can pick them up and combine items for the CPU, but you can never use a weapon. You can use your special attack (R1 + X) and the characters will punch or kick the monster. You can also ram the monsters (R1 + Circle) . You also can use health items if needed for you or your CPU characters. Note: Only Kevin, David, Mark, and George can punch, kick, and tackle.
Obtain all items: To get an even better score, obtain all items in the stage. You must collect files, useless items (such as diaries and test tubes), press buttons, etc. This will boost your points. Note: Collecting the items can clog up your inventory spaces. You can pass the items to your CPU characters to keep until the end of the stage.
Obtain the "Daylight" virus: In the stage "Decisions, Decisions", collect an extra tube of "Daylight" virus and you will get a different ending and points. Note: When getting the extra "Daylight", do not use it. Keep it in your inventory for the different ending and points.
Using the hiding feature
Try the following tricks to use the hiding feature to your advantage. Note: Do not to talk, look at your map, or open your menu screen, as this will blow your cover and the zombie or other monsters will cause damage to your character.
Hiding in lockers
You can hide from the monsters in lockers. For example, when in the "Outbreak" stage on the second floor and in the locker room, go to the last locker (next to the window). If you have a zombie chasing you and he happens to break down the door, hide in the locker. The zombie will look around, walk around in circles, then pound on the door to leave. Once he leaves, you can exit from the locker. Note: This works for all stages.
Hiding under tables or beds
If a zombie is entering and there are no lockers, go under the table or bed. Your character will sit there, and the camera view will change so that you can see the zombie's feet. Stay under the table or bed until you see the zombie leave.

Battle mode
Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting with any ranking. Then, battle mode will automatically be saved to the memory card and selectable at the main menu.
First person view option in battle mode
Successfully complete the game on the easy or normal difficulty settings with any ranking to enable an option to play battle mode in first person view.
Play as Steve Burnside in battle mode
Get the Gold Lugers from the basement office in Disc 2. The correct combination is red, green, blue, and brown. You can also unlock Steve Burnside by performing well with the original Chris in battle mode.
Play as Albert Wesker in battle mode
Perform well with Chris in battle mode.
Play as alternate Claire in battle mode
Perform well with the original Claire in battle mode.
Linear launcher in battle mode
Get an "A" ranking with Chris, Steve Burnside, Albert Wesker and both versions of Claire in battle mode to unlock the linear launcher. It will appear in your inventory during the next battle mode game.
Rocket launcher
Get an "A" ranking in the normal game by completing it without saving, no first aid sprays, and no retries. Additionally, save Steve from the Luger quickly, give the Medicine to Rodrigo, and complete the game with a time less than 4:30. The rocket launcher will appear in the first item box in the next new game.

Completion bonuses
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Separate Ways and Mercenaries mini-games; the Professional difficulty setting; Leon's Raccoon City Police Department costume, Ashley's pop star costume, and Ada's black costume; the Mathilda handgun and Infinite Rocket Launcher for purchase (for 1 million Pesetas), and the Tactical Vest (for 60,000 Pesetas); and an alternate title screen. After completing the game the first time, start a new game, then press Start and select "Load Game". Choose the file that is marked "Clear". Once you choose that file, you will be taken to a menu where you can buy the Matilda Handgun or the Infinite Rocket Launcher. Once you start the game, all of your items from your previous game will be in your item box.
Successfully complete the Separate Ways mini-game to unlock Ashley's knight costume and Leon's gangster costume. Ashley's suit of armor is bullet and damage proof. She cannot get hurt by anything and it is so heavy she cannot be carried away. You do not have to worry about giving her First Aid Sprays, Herbs, or shooting Ganados trying to pick her up.
Successfully complete the game in Professional mode. The merchant will give you a PRL 412 laser cannon when you start Round 2 of Professional mode.
Chicago Typewriter
Successfully complete the Separate Ways mini-game to unlock the Chicago Typewriter (Tommy gun with infinite ammunition) for purchase (for 1 million Pesetas).
HandCannon
Get a five star rank with all mercenaries in the Mercenaries mini-game to unlock the HandCannon weapon. To get unlimited ammunition for it, fully upgrade all of the HandCannon's options. Alternately, successfully complete the game two times. The HandCannon will be available as soon as you start the game again for 0 Pesetas. It is a very powerful magnum, and will have unlimited ammunition. When you go to upgrade it in the merchant window, in the "HandCannon" update screen there is an option labeled "Exclusive". When chosen, the gun is upgraded with power identical to the Chicago Typewriter.
Punisher
Destroy at least ten of the fifteen blue medallions (there are seven in the farm and eight in the cemetery) to get a free Punisher from the Merchant two guns before you can buy it. This pistol hits two targets when you get it and five when you get exclusive.

Mercenaries mini-game tips
The main monsters to look out for are the two chainsaw ladies on stage 1. Once you kill them, they keep coming back. On stage 2 and 3 be careful of the guys with the chain guns. On stage 4, there is a super chainsaw man. He is bigger than the normal one and has a twin bladed saw. He is almost impossible to stop. He does not climb ladders. He jumps to where he needs to be. He will run at you, swinging the saw. Do not run past him. Turn and jump down if you can, or climb something quickly. If you really want to get past him, try using Jack Krauser's transformation, and aim right at him. If you miss, you are dead. Additionally, Krauser's transformation will kill anyone in one hit as long as you are close enough. Also Flash Bang, Kick are very good for crowds with Krauser. These two things will make Krauser the easiest to get five stars with.
Easy completion in Mercenaries mini-game in Village
Go to the top of the barn (located next to the house where you found the shotgun in the main game). There is also a timer under the ladder, and a chest above, and up the ladder. Go up there and wait for the Los Illuminados to come to you. When they are mostly packed in, shoot the barrel inside and jump down quickly. Get what they dropped. Get back up the ladder and repeat. Note: Do not throw a grenade while there is a flame barrel down there; it will not do twice the damage. Also, be careful of the Chainsaw Hags that appear. They will cut off your head if you get too close. It is best if you are Hunk or Krauser to use the neck break; and the transformation of Krauser's arm, which kills them in one hit. With Ada or Wesker, use their sniper rifles until they are both gone, then jump down, With Leon try grenades, but it is very difficult.
Easy completion of Professional mode
The best way to complete the game in Professional mode is to first complete the Separate Ways mini-game. You will unlock Ashley's knight costume and Leon's gangster costume. Selecting Ashley's knight costume makes Professional mode a lot easier. Ashley cannot be injured or carried away. Use her for bait when needed. At least half the enemies will go directly for her, giving you time to kill them and keep your distance from a crowd. This also works well on El Gigante.
Control title screen
At the title screen, press the Right Analog-stick to move the background. Press R1 to zoom in or L1 to zoom out.
Game trailers
Remain idle at the title screen. Eventually two trailers will begin playing and begin to cycle.
Extra scene
When Leon is being choked by Chief Mendez, he will be told that he has the same blood. Leave the room, then return. You will be choked again by Chief Mendez, only this time Ada will come to the rescue.
Extra ammunition
Wait until you are low on ammunition before upgrading a gun. The replacement gun will always have a full clip, giving you extra bullets that otherwise may be difficult to find.
Easy money
Once you gain access to the tunnel with the merchant beyond Pueblo, return to the farm area and wait for the chickens there to lay eggs. Exit and re-enter to begin the same process over again. After you fill your inventory, you can return to the nearby merchant to sell your eggs. White chicken eggs sell for 300 Pesetas, brown eggs for 600 Pesetas, and golden eggs for 3,000 Pesetas.
Quick money or more health
If you mix a Green, Red, and Yellow Herb, you can sell it for a lot of money, or use it to restore health and increase the maximum health. Use it when you are low on health so that you do not waste the health recovery from it.
Open doors quicker
Tap X(2) when the "Open" action appears to kick open or down some doors instead of nudging them by hand. This will give you an advantage, as any enemies behind the door will be sent flying back.
Opening locks
There are many locks on doors. Instead of shooting the locks and wasting ammunition, pull out your knife and cut it off. The same can be done for boxes.
Aim faster
Use the D-pad and Analog-stick together to aim faster than normal.
Avoid damage from traps
To avoid getting hurt by traps such as explosives and bear traps, use your laser sight and shoot at the explosive or the middle of the trap.
Finding items
To find items, smash all of the crates with either your knife or a gun.
More items
When running around different areas of the village, you will see crows. Pick them off from a distance as to not scare the others away. They usually drop Pesetas. Note: If you scare some away, just re-enter the area to reset their position.
Selling items
If you plan to sell two or more herbs or other items that can be combined, combine them first and do not sell them separately. This will result in a small boost in the total selling price when compared to what it would have been if you sold them separately.
Pearl Pendant
Close to the start of the game there is a pendant with a value that will decrease by 9,000 Pesetas, if dropped in water. To keep it as the Pearl Pendant instead of the Brass Pocketwatch, shoot the block that is holding the well open, then shoot the pendant down to pick it up off the top of the well cover. It will sell for 10,000 Pesetas.
Valuable jewels
When around the village stage, some trees will have bird nests. Shoot them down to get valuable jewels to sell to the merchant.
Crown Jewels
Kill Salazar's "right hand" that you need to use the liquid nitrogen tanks on to receive the "Crown Jewels". which fit into the "Crown" treasure item. This is difficult; try using the Chicago Typewriter.
Sell the rocket launcher (special) to the merchant
Note: This trick involves the infinite rocket launcher (successfully complete the game; costs 1 million Pesetas). When you fight Saddler and Ada throws you the rocket launcher (special), take it, but do not use it. When you can get a clear shot to his main eye, use the regular unlimited launcher. Saddler will be killed and the rocket launcher (special) will be yours to keep. When you start a new game, you can sell it to the merchant.
Surviving the raid at the farmhouse
An intermission sequence will start when you are escorting Ashley across a bridge. A large crowd shows up and you will run into a farmhouse. After the sequence ends and you are inside the house with Lou, push the bookcases in front of the windows and go to the bottom of the staircase. Using the shotgun is recommended, but the pistol works fine. Once they are able to gain entrance to the house, aim high and fire until they are all knocked down. Then, reload and repeat until Lou tells you to head up stairs. When you do this, go over to the windows and knock down the ladders. After that is done, go to the edge of the stairs and kill everyone that is coming up Grenades work the best for this. After they are taken care of, rush back to the windows and knock down the ladders once again. Repeat this until the sequence plays when they retreat.
Once in the farmhouse, collect all the items while pushing the shelves against the windows. Stand in the corner by the stairs with Luis and fire until he tells you to go upstairs. Once up, stand in northwest corner (when facing down the stairs), and concentrate on firing in the direction of the stairs and pushing down the two ladders in that corner so that you do not become surrounded.
Because the raid continues until you kill a certain number, block two windows and shoot out the third until the enemies break in. Then, block the third window and deal with the other two. This allows you to get several kills in before it starts getting hectic.
Two routes
Soon after the farmhouse, look around to collect some ammunition and buy more items. After that, go to an opening where you see a lever. Go up to it and switch it to the right to fight El Gigante (recommended) or switch it to the left to face more chainsaw wielding villagers (extremely difficult). If you select to fight El Gigante, aim at the rock at the top ledge until he is underneath it and fire. Use the same tactic on the one you dealt with earlier.
Easy kills
After you kill the hatchet guy as soon as you start the game, go upstairs to the window. Do not jump out. Instead, take out your pistol and shoot the glass out. Then, carefully aim for the villagers' heads that are awaiting outside. There are three of them. If you kill all three, you can jump out and avoid any damage.
Killing large crowds with TMP
Shoot out the legs of everyone, then unload on their heads while they are lying on their faces.
Killing birds
Throw a flash grenade in the middle of a group of birds. All of them will die instantly, leaving lots of gold. This also works with the Granadas when their heads are transformed.
Killing snakes
If you see a snake after smashing boxes, kill it. You will get a chicken egg for health. Note: If you do not kill the snake it will bite you and take health away.
Killing the merchant
You can kill the merchant at any time in the game. On the normal difficulty setting, he just dies then comes back at the next place, or sometimes when you leave the room and come back in. However, on the professional difficulty setting, once he dies, he remains dead.
Golden egg
At the beginning of the game, if you leave a hen alone in Pueblo they should lay at least one golden egg (which fully restores health when used). Go to the weapon/health screen and select the egg. It should allow you to equip the egg. At the screen, Leon will throw the egg up and down, looking smug. Additionally, the golden egg is the best healing item, as it fully heals you and only takes one space in your case.
Throw eggs at Ashley
Collect some eggs, equip them, and throw them at Ashley. They will not harm her and it is funny. Aim from a distance to get used to them. They are lighter than a grenade and fly far when thrown. Note: She will duck when in close proximity.
Annoy Ashley
When Ashley is on a cliff or still up a ladder, you can aim your gun up at her. She will grab her skirt and call you a pervert.
Look up Ashley's skirt without her stopping you
Normally, if you jump down a ladder and try to look up Ashley's skirt, she will grab it and call you a pervert. However, there is a location where she does not do this. In Chapter 2-3, go to the lifts, after going down one of the paths. Climb onto one and go all the way down to the other side, shooting the Gonadas coming up on other lifts and the ones on the platforms. Once you get all the way down, go down the stairs nearby. Go to the cave that is here that has window-like holes. Be careful, as there are two dynamite wielding Gonadas at the entrance. Kill them then jump over the wall and go up the ladder. Kill the Gonada. Jump down, but leave Ashely up there. Try looking up her skirt with a sniper. She will not grab her skirt and call you a pervert because she is too high up. Note: There are more ladders where you can do this. Find one with a large drop and it should work. For example, if you have already gotten past Chapter 2-3, you can do this trick on the ladder you go down just after defeat Saddler in the final chapter.
After you defeat Ramon Salazar, walk further and there will be an intermission sequence where Ada will ask Leon if he needs a ride, and he accepts. When Ada brings him to the island, she will hook a rope onto the top of a cliff and say" I have some business to take care of". While she is saying that, look at her skirt (especially when she goes to jump up). You can also see more of Ashley than usual when you jump out the window of the church and when you get on the jet ski.
Easy money in castle
Look behind every painting of Saddler to find 5,000 Pesetas.
Broken Butterfly in castle
When you are in the area where you are just about see the intermission sequence with Luis dying, there will be a door that lets you know that you will need another person for it. After you get Ashley back, return to this door. Give Ashley a piggyback and she will open the door. Inside will be a lot of treasure, and the powerful Broken Butterfly. You do not have to buy it from the merchant or sell it for money. Additionally, the strongest Magnum is not the Killer 7. When you tune up and buy the exclusive option of the Broken Butterfly its power will increase to 50.0, far stronger than the Killer 7's 35.0. You can kill a Boss in four shots.
Getting the Green Catseye in the church
In Chapter 1-3 in the church, turn right. Go to the small path at the back of the church. You will see a blinking object. Get near it, then press X to check. After that, first rotate seven times using option 3, another five times using option 4, then one more time with option 3. You will hear a sound and can now get the Green Catseye.
Infinite villagers in the church
When you first get to the church, defeat everyone in the area. Then, return to the church and shoot the bell above. Villagers will arrive in a groups of three to six Gonados. You can continue this process as much as desired.
Black Bass recovery in sewer
You can kill the fish and use them as recovery items in the sewer area shortly after the beginning of Chapter 1-2. It is a little after the place where you face the two enemies who throw dynamite at you.
Chapter 2-1 puzzle
Before the end of the chapter, there is a puzzle in the church. The puzzle is a simple mix of colors. Three different designs surround the main design. The colors are red, green, and blue. When you enter the church, turn to the left and go down the little hall. Climb the ladder. When you are up there, you will see that the way to the door is barred. You must get to the other side of the church by jumping on and off of the chandelier. On the other side, there is a set of switches. When you activate it, the puzzle starts. The goal is to turn the designs so when combined, they are the same as the middle design. Turn red twice, green three times, and blue once. When combined, it should create the design. Then, go in and grab Ashley.
Chapter 3-4 puzzle

Interesting death sequences
Note: Save your game before each encounter when trying to see the following death scenes:
Betrayal: When you are in the cabin surrounded by Ganados, shoot Luis Sera about five to eight times. An intermission sequence will begin.
Chief Mendez: In the barn fight, do not evade his grab in the intermission sequence.
Del Lago (before fighting him): Stand on the dock by the lake where you fight the giant alligator (Del Lago). Fire your shotgun into the water several times. Eventually, Del Lago will come out and eat you.
Del Lago (when fighting him): After getting knocked out of the boat, swim back until you are just in reach of the boat. Del Lago will appear from underneath. Additionally, after killing Del Lago, do not cut the rope.
Giant insects: Let them vomit on you.
"It": "It" has three ways of killing Leon. The first is when he is on the roof. He will grab Leon and snap his neck. Another is when he has the scissors tail. He will grab Leon by the legs and cut him in half. The finwl way happens after the three cages fall and the final fight on the cliff side begins. Shoot him until he goes underground. Allow him to kill you when he pops from under you.
Knife fight: At the end, let him press the knife through the cavity.
Molotov cocktails: In the beginning of the game, go up the ladder into the tower and wait for the villagers to burn you alive.
Prison Boss: Have low life and let him kill you with the first hit of his charge. He should impale you twice.
Regenerators: Both normal and spiked varieties have their own style of killing Leon.
Two Los Gigantes: In the magma floor/pool, activate the switch and stand next to the pool.
Trap door floor: Let Leon fall through the trap door that Salazar actives.
Wolves: When they jump on you, they will ravage your face. Once Leon is killed, look at their teeth.
Leon shows off
Wear Leon's gangster costume and have the Chicago Typewriter as a weapon. Hold R1 and press Square. Leon will take off his hat, re-adjust it, then put it back in place. Repeat this until he throws his hat in the air, catches it, then strikes a pose.
Leon struggles
When using Ashley's knight costume and Leon's gangster costume, watch Leon as he tries to catch Ashley whenever you need her to come down from a raised platform or ladder. He will fall on the ground with one knee, and as he comes up from the ground, he will grab his back in pain.
Leon's X-ray vision
After you unlock Leon's special costume, complete Chapter 1-3. In the intermission sequence after the game prompts you to save, Leon will have a strange dream that the egg hatched and is taking over his body. One part shows it taking over his arm, but the secondary costume prevents Leon from looking at his skin. Leon still acts as though he can see it, and the intermission sequence plays through normally after that.

In the Mercenaries mini-game, play as John Krauser or Hunk. Notice that both of the character's theme songs are from P.N. 03 levels.
Saddler comment
Listen closely when you kill the villagers. Some of them will say "Lord Saddler" as they reach out just before they die. Note: This may only happen after completion of the game.
Defeating the armored opponents
Try not to get surrounded by them. Make sure they are in a group. Take out whatever rifle you have and shoot them all in the head until the snake thing appears. Wait until they are all like, then throw a flash grenade to kill all of them at once. This works well on all of them, and saves ammunition.
Bypass chainsaw man encounters
When you enter the town, kill everyone. When the second wave of people arrives, also kill all of them. You can then go into the house and they will not come out. Additionally, during the mine cart section of Chapter 4-2, the mine car will stop and lots of enemies and two chainsaw men will load into the stopped cars. To avoid most of this encounter, be in the front car and immediately shoot the switch. The cars will start moving, and you will have only have about four enemies to kill.
Defeating chainsaw men
When you meet a man with the chainsaw, shoot him with the shotgun and incendiary grenades. You can also use your handgun, but you will probably get killed. Note: The shotgun is found in the building that is diagonal from the tower.
Defeating Del Lago (lake monster)
When you start, Del Lago is towing you and heading toward the pieces of land in the middle. Steer to avoid them and harpoon him as soon as you can afterwards (before it lets go). Next, aim a harpoon and throw it at any sign of movement so that you will not be knocked off the boat. After awhile it will go away, then charge at the boat. Throw as many harpoons at it as possible before it reaches the boat. If you get knocked out, press X until you get back in. Repeat this process until the intermission sequence starts and Del Lago retreats.
Defeating dogs
The zombie dogs are brown colored. You will find one in the beginning. The zombie dogs will not attack you until you meet Chief Mendez. The dogs will have parasites sticking out of them after chapter 3. A shotgun will kill them easily. Note: Do not kill the white dog in the trap. It will help you fight the Gigante.
Defeating El Gigante
Either weapon works; feel free to experiment. When the battle starts, check out the shacks and get all of the items that you can. When he gets close, run between his legs, get behind him, then open fire. When he is approaching you, use the shotgun and keep shooting him in the head while avoiding his attacks. When he roars and starts moving around, something will pop out of his back. Before it kneels on the ground, get in close until the action command that reads "Climb" appears. Use it to get on his back. The screen will indicate which button to use to slash. Press that button as fast as possible until you get off. Repeat the process one to three more times to defeat him. Additionally, when facing the El Gigante, buy a rocket launcher; it will kill him in one hit instead of wasting your other ammunition.
You will have to fight four El Gigantes (the big monster that breaks through the door and picks up and crushes Leon). You will fight one by yourself, one with the girl, and two at the same time by yourself. The quickest way to kill them is to buy a rocket launcher immediately before the fight so that you do not take waste space in you inventory. Throw a flash grenade to stun him, then run around behind and shoot him in the back. You will kill him in one hit. The same can also be done on most of the Bosses. If this does not kill them, it will do a lot of damage.
To win easily against the two El Gigantes in Chapter 4-2, go up the ladder and go down the rope on the other side of the room to activate the mechanism. It will open the circle in the middle of the room and take an El Gigante into the lava. Do not try it a second time; the mechanism will not work again. Just use the rocket launcher to finish the remaining El Gigante.
Avoid fighting El Gigante the second time
After you survive the raid, you must choose a path to open; left or right. Open the right gate and it will take you to El Gigante. Use the shotgun and make the boulder drop down on his head when he arrives. Then, turn around and kick the door six times to knock the chains off it. If you are still standing outside the door when you see Gigante approach you from behind, do not panic; just get out of there quickly. He does not attack for a few seconds after he comes up behind you. The knife or a gunshot may help destroy the chains quicker, but kicking works. Go through another door in the same fashion and somewhere along the way you should find a key. It may be in one of the last huts you see toward the center. If you are quick enough, you can escape El Gigante and make it through the door alive with Ashley.
Defeating enemies on bridges
If you are on a bridge and there are open areas, take out a weak gun. One shot will make them fall off the bridge. However, you will not get any items from them.
Defeating the Enemy Regenerator and Iron Maiden
You do not need a special scope to kill them. Buy the Killer 7 Magnum and use it on them. After three or four shots, they will go down. Shoot it in the sheet until there is a hole. Then, shoot its head. After that, the body will explode then the legs will fall over and leave 5,000 gold. Additionally, another way to kill the Regenerator creatures is to shoot their head or chest with the shotgun. Then, blast a leg away; it will fall on the ground. Then, take out an incinerator grenade (the red ones) and throw it at them. If done correctly, he will burn on the ground and die.
Defeating flying insects
If you are able to hit the flying insect enemies in the cave area while they are airborne, they will die in just one hit. Any weapon works, though the shotgun is recommended. This will help conserve your ammunition. If they manage to land, you will use about three to four shogun rounds from a Stock Striker (firepower 6.0).
Defeating Gothic Illuminados
When you are in the castle and you fire at the Gothic Illuminados, it is best to fire at their knees. They will fall on them and allow you to use a suplex move instead of a kick. You will then throw them over your head and smash their head in the ground. Note: In mercenary mode, the same goes for the rest of the mercenaries.
Defeating human zombies
If you are low on ammunition, try to avoid these enemies. The zombies have orange eyes. When killed, the parasite in them will come out of their heads. Stay away from it and shoot it from a distance. If you are too close, the parasite will cut your head off.
Destroying the insect nest
In the area where Ashley is carried away by the flying insects, you can destroy the nest that is hanging from the ceiling. After it is destroyed, you will find a lot of green and red eyes, and if you are lucky, even a blue one. This is a good way to get the Butterfly Lamp filled with all three jewels early so that you can get some extra money for upgrades.
Defeating Krauser
Krauser is the mean-looking Russian commando with the red beret. The first encounter is nothing more than action commands. The second encounter, you can kill him. For this battle, the weaponry you need is the semi-auto rifle and the Broken Butterfly. These two should be maxed out, with exclusives and everything else. If you are short on resources, worry more about getting the Broken Butterfly's exclusive, as it really increases the firepower. In the room where the long and hardest fight takes place, just run to the edge, taking the contents of a barrel along the way. Jump down the edge. Run across the corridor-like area until an intermission sequence starts, Krauser will tell you where Ashley is (not really) and say that you need three insignia to open the gate. He will say that one is in the north and in the east, and that he has the last one. Then, he will show his TMP. After that, the battle starts. Use the rifle to peg him in the head, but be quick. When he shows himself, he does not leave a big window of time to hit him. After about one or two shots he will engage close quarters. The best thing to do is take out the magnum and hit him anywhere. One shot and he will throw a flash grenade. From there, continue. There is a building at the end of the first fight with Krauser in this battle. Ignore the ladder. It is a waste of your time. Open the door and proceed. Turn the corner to find Krauser again. Keep the magnum out. He will be on a building, sniping you. Run toward the building. Use some caution when he starts with the mine arrows. When you are close enough to the building he will jump down and begin close quartering again. Hit him with the magnum. If you do not hit him the first time he may get close enough to use his knife. Either back up to avoid the hit, or (if becomes surreal and he tries to hit you multiple times), enter the action commands as they appear to avoid a slash or a deadly stab to the heart. After he throws another flash grenade, go to the right of the building and walk along the side. It is a path to the next fight with Krauser. This is also where you get the first insignia. In this fight, Krauser will switch between sniping and close quartering. While he is sniping, get under the roof he stands on and enter the action icons to avoid the grenades. When he gets down, aim and shoot. It will be a little tricky because the laser does not show up on Krauser, and you may need to wait until he says, "Come on! Come out and fight like a man!" The important thing is to shoot him. After he throws another flash grenade, a statue will rise. Push it to the square on the other side of the broken wall. This will open up two switches to be used; one to get out of the area you are in and the other to carry on to the last fight. Flip the first switch and go back down the path. When you get to the building, go around the backside of it and go straight to the second switch. Be careful. Krauser will be waiting for you around the corner, heading toward the switch. This starts the second to last shuffle. Just shoot him with the magnum. Open the door and jump down. You see that there are bombs around. Shoot them at a safe distance. Proceed through this trench to the end, shooting any bombs or flying turrets you encounter. Near the end of the path, Krauser will say something and you will have the choice of responding. In the tower at the end, climb the ladder. At the top you can go to the other tower and pick up some ammo and an herb if desired; or collect the second insignia and start the last fight. Krauser does not use his weapon anymore. However, his left arm turns into a group of blades. The fight will commence with an action command. You will dodge if you hit it correctly. You will hang on the edge if you do not. If this happens, press X to get up. The weapon you use is your choice. The magnum is recommended, as you only have three minutes to kill him and get out of the room. This is where timing and aim counts the most. The shooting order is as follows: feet, head. You can use the rifle to get him down, but for the head shot, it is better to use the magnum. If done correctly, you should kill him in a little over a half a minute. After he is dead, go down the ladder, and through the newly opened gate. Jump down, put in the insignia, and leave.
To easily defeat Krauser's final form, when his arm is mutated just use your knife whenever his guard is down. It is possible to defeat him in a little over a minute under the pro difficulty setting by using this technique. Additionally, when fighting Krauser, instead of wasting ammunition, use your knife. You should only have to hit him four or five times before he dies.
Defeating Los Illuminados
Instead of firing at Los Illuminados when there parasite is exposed, use a flash grenade to destroy the parasite instead of using your weapon.
Defeating the prison Boss
When inside the castle, an obstacle blocks your path (two fire breathing statues) To shut it off, you must enter the prison (the key is on a painting near the obstacle). When you go into the prison, equip either the TMP or shotgun and tell Ashley to wait atop the stairs. After the intermission sequence showing what the boss looks like, kick down the cell door and get close to the switch to initiate the battle. If you go up the stairs to try to escape, the door will shut. Try walking as much as possible, as he is sensitive to sound. You can use the bells at each end of the prison by shooting at them, but they can only be used once. Stay close to walls so that he gets stuck when he tries to attack you. Do your best to avoid his attacks, as they take much damage and there is only one Green Herb in the area. His only weakness is the spider thing on his back. When he is stuck in a wall, concentrate all of your firepower on the the weak point until he recuperates. After awhile, he will let his guard down and walk around. This is when he is most vulnerable, besides when he is stuck in a wall. Repeat this as many times as needed to kill him. When you put Ashley atop the steps, she is out of harm's way. Additionally, make sure that he is closer to the bell than he is to you. Shoot it with your handgun. If he is closer to you, he hears the gunshot. Then, switch to the rifle and aim just in front of the bell. If you aimed well and timed your shot correctly, you can shoot him in the back before he destroys the bell.
Defeating Saddler
Look at his legs. If you see an eyeball, shoot it until you can see the eyeball in his mouth. Get near it and press Action. Do this about three times, then go across the bridge and get the rocket launcher. Shoot it at him. Then, go down, get Ashley, and ride the jet ski.
The most effective way to win this battle is to have the Mine Thrower and some grenades. Start the battle by running past Saddler to the end platform and climb up the ladder. Wait for Saddler to get close to where you are and throw the switch. This will trigger steel beams to crash into him. Saddler will flop down on the ground. Quickly jump off the platform and go near him. Press X to trigger Leon to "climb up". Leon will stab his eye. You must stab Saddler around six times to defeat him. Quickly run across the bridge and get ready to do an action command to jump when the bridge falls. As Leon grabs on, repeatedly tap X to climb up. Be aware if Saddler has not jumped over to where you are, he will throw steel beams and you will have to do action commands to dodge them. Run to the end, and once again climb up the ladder. Get ready to throw the switch and cause Saddler to fall and stab him. There are now multiple ways to get him to flop down. A single grenade is enough, as well as a Dart Mine. You can use these to get him to fall. You get also take out the thermal scope for your sniper and target one of the four eyes on his legs. Those are all good ways to get Leon to stab his eye. Note: Stabbing Saddler's eye is the only way to damage him. Finally, when you haved stab him enough an intermission sequence will appear, and Ada will throw a Rocket Launcher (Special) to you to finish the job. Grab it across the bridge and make room for it in your case. Point and shoot at Saddler, and the final battle intermission sequence will begin.
Defeating Salazar
Note: This trick requires the basic sniper rifle fully upgraded with the Exclusive Upgrade. Make a note of the dodge actions at various times during this battle. Start off by running to the side of the platform on the top. Quickly shoot the tentacle in front of you, making sure that you dodge if needed. With the upgraded sniper rifle, it will only take one shot for the tentacle to retract. Ignore Salazar's eye and other tentacles. Only focus on the tentacle closest to you. After some point, Salazar himself will emerge from the upper back of the monster. Use your sniper to pick him off. After you get about two shots in, he will go back into hiding. By now that tentacle should have returned. Shoot it once to take care of it for awhile. Repeat the process of shooting Salazar and the tentacle, and the battle will cause Leon to take little damage. If you run out of ammunition for the sniper rifle, either drop down and look for more in the barrels (but be prepared to fight the spider-like parasites or run pass them), or use your Punisher to snipe Salazar and just dodge the tentacle.
When you are in the castle, you may find a rocket launcher in the room where you must make a bridge to get to the other side. Take the rocket launcher but do not use it. Wait for your fight with Salazar to use it to end Chapter 4 easily. Immediately before the Boss battle with Salazar, take the TMP, the rocket launcher, some herbs, and a shotgun (Striker recommended, but the Riot Gun works). When you enter the room, watch Salazar fuse with the monster, then get to work. Use the shotgun or TMP on the tentacle to your left until it goes away. Grab the item that is at the end, then fire with the TMP until Salazar appears. Then, equip that rocket launcher and fire for a one hit kill. Get the 30,000 or 50,000 Peseta that he drops. This will pay for the rocket you used, and you will save health for the next chapter. Once the Pesata is collected, go down into the pit and pick up the remaining items. You can then leave and proceed to Chapter 5.
Big SSX Snowboard Supercross
Course Hints Mode:
At the Options screen, hold down L1 + L2 + R1 + R2. Then enter the following sequence: Square, Triangle, Circle, X, Square, Triangle, Circle, X. Repeat this to disable hints.
Magic Board:
Hold R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 and press X four times, then Triangle four times.
Master Code:
This is the code to unlock everything (all courses, boards, characters, and outfits).
Press Square at the main menu to get to the options menu. Then, hold down all theshoulder buttons (L1 + L2 + R1 + R2) and press DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, X, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE. A beeping sound will confirm the code.
Redo the code to disable it.
Max Stats:
Enter this code at the Options Menu. Hold all four shoulder buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) and enter in the following code:

Running Man Cheat:

Hidden Yeti

Next, go to the elevator access by going to primary objectives, go to the bottom of the ladder, and type "fly" in the console window. Go up to look into the elevator. Save money
If you have not used a cheat and are still taking damage on your travels use this trick to save money. When you get to your destination, sell your goods but do not buy any more until after you have been to the garage. When you enter the garage, exchange trailers and the new trailer will have no damage. If you want to get your old trailer back again, just change again and the damage will be gone. Note: If you have only sustained minor damage it will probably be a better value just to repair it.

After you get the camera and photograph the beetle, take a picture of the kids, the dog, and Pey'j to get some pictures for the scientific society, and some money. likewise, go to Mammago's and take a picture of one of the attendants; and in the Pedestrian District, take some pictures of the people there. Some might be an "unidentified species".
Easy money
You can get quick money by taking risky photos. When you you encounter a big monster in the hilly, it will be a fish-like sea monster. After the intermission sequence, take its picture and send it to the research center. You will get 2,000 credits for it. When you enter the factory, you will encounter another monster. Take its picture and send it to the research center for 2,500 credits. Take all the pictures of fish, animals, rats, and friends and all the people that roam in the street and bars and send them to the research center.
Unlocking the Beluga spaceship
The codes to unlock the Beluga spaceship are on the bottom of the Jet Boots. Select them and rotate them to see the codes.
Soul control
In the battle with the Domz priest, he will eventually tell you that you are out of control with your soul, and the directional controls will be reversed. A practical way to overcome this is to simply flip the controller upside-down.

Finding the real Grunty:
When Grunty makes duplicates of her spirit in Winky Bunion Tower, instead of guessing which one is real, find the one that is moving the fastest. That one is the real Grunty.
Treasure chest mini-game:
To easily win the treasure chest mini-game in Breegul Beach, grab the chest and hide in the corner looking at the arena. If someone shoots you, you will spin but willnot lose the chest. If done correctly. you should get the Jiggy.
